Since you’ve been gone
Dear Pope John Paul: do you ever look down here, and wonder? Seeing the sites, hearing the sounds? Is there more pain now than before?
Dear Pope John Paul: do you have questions, like how could this happen? Why are we falling deeper away from the truth to restore?
Dear Pope John Paul: did you know the people around you had secrets that slowly were killing truth? Did you see this? Or did they watch you and hold you back from voicing concern?
Dear Pope John Paul: are you crying? Are you wondering if this is the outcome to all your hard work? Can we redeem this? Without a true leader? Without someone that will speak as Christ calls us to speak?
Dear Pope John Paul: is this just the beginning? Did you have the visions that this was going to be? Did you see it coming? Is this why you were weeping; you knew this heart ache would infect the Holy See?
What about the children? What about the pain and sorrow that they feel still today? What about the crimes? What about humanity? What will occur to those that got away?
We need some direction; some prayers and protection. Even our bishops have strayed.
Dear Pope John Paul: we are lost without you. We lost the compassion, the touch of a person, and our Church is now cold. We are driven by laws now, not by love now, because they’re afraid of what has been foretold.
Dear Pope John Paul: there are priests hurting, they were kids once, and were also abused. Now they are our leaders, instructors and teachers, and they need healing too.
Dear Pope John Paul: let us pray for redemption, whole hearted repentance before our Church disappears. Let us bring back love with acceptance, truth with deliverance, significance of peace to our church.
Dear Pope John Paul: everyone is scared now, living in denial now, since you’ve been gone. Our Shepherds keep blaming, pointing fingers, dictating and not getting things done.
Dear Pope John Paul: I sure miss you. I hope you were true; that you didn’t lie like all the rest. I couldn’t handle another leader, manipulator and cheater, especially not you.
